We are saddened to announce the passing of Wor. Linwood Everett (Buddy) Stott. Bro. Buddy passed away August 26th. Services will be this weekend in Richmond. A graveside sevice will be held Monday August 30th at Hollywood Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
8/25/10 Bro. Ernie Irby is at home recovering from quadruple bypass surgery last week at St. Mary’s.
8/24/10 We have word that Bro.Scott Davis' 7 year-old niece, Allyson Sowler has received a heart transplant and is now at home recovering. So far, she is doing well, and her body is accepting the new heart.

Bro. Benjamin V. Petrone, Jr., is at home recovering from emergency surgery to correct a case of diverticulitis and an abscess.

Wor. Jesse Crews, of Buckingham Lodge 242, passed away August 8th. He was a visitor to our Lodge on numerous ocassions, and was kin to Herb, Rob Sr, and Rob Eades, III of Tuckahoe. Please remember the family in your prayers.

Wor. Doug Messimer was unable to share his latest 'Nugget from the Quarry' at the Stated Communication because his daughter gave birth to a baby boy that afternoon. New arrival Thomas L Terry, his Mom (Amy), Dad (Tim), big sister Llera, and the new Grandparents are all doing fine.

Wor. Jim Woolard, following some shortness of breath and chest pain when he was doing his usual 1.5 mi walk two weeks ago, headed to his doctor. The Doc set up a cardiac catheterization, and on Tuesday, the 27th, Jim had a double by-pass operation. He is home now and doing well. So now, he has cardiac rehab and recovery to look forward to for the next two months.
Wor. Clawson Barbour, lost his youngest son (Kenneth A. Barbour) on July 4th, after apparently having several strokes in recent weeks, and Wor. Clawson’s other son; Keith was recently diagnosed with ALS. Wor. Bro. Marshall Messimer's son, Breck, passed away Sunday morning July 25th around 6am in Philadelphia after a brief hospitalization. Breck, 51, was the eldest of Bro. Messimer's children. Bro. Bernard Wright is scheduled to undergo another eye surgery on August 4th. This is the same surgery he had a number of months back, and the Dr. has deemed the first surgery to be unsuccessful. Bro. Graham Simmons, a resident of the Masonic Home, broke one of his shoulders in a recent fall. Bro.Scott Davis, currently working through the degrees in Tuckahoe, has a 7 year-old niece, Allyson Sowler, who is a patient at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. She underwent surgery recently, now has a mechanical heart and will be put back on the UNOS list for a heart transplant. She is responding well to her medical care so far. Bro. Kenny Roach is home, as he continues his recovery from back surgery, and Bro. Richard Collins is doing well following his shoulder surgery.
